Given
A fortnightly occurrence and a major event, each with a capacity. Eligible, overdue and ineligible companies exist, one with an existing registration that later became overdue.
When
Register twice; send many concurrent registrations past capacity; cancel to promote the waitlist; register as an overdue company; register a new user for a company whose profile lapsed after registering.
Then / oracle
Duplicate registration is blocked (unique occurrence and user). Capacity is enforced atomically. Cancellation promotes the next waitlisted registration atomically and queues notifications. Standard registration needs an eligible profile; an existing registration stays valid if the profile later becomes overdue, while new registrations need refreshed data. An administrative safety hold can override with a clear reason or support route. Attendance is stored separately from registration.
Evidence required
Registration counts under concurrency; waitlist order; per-case result against the proposed default.
Decision dependency
- GL08-staged: Guest access and separate event charges are event-lead decisions; the scenario covers standard member registration
Where a decision is pending, the dependent assertion is Blocked by that decision and no oracle is invented. A proposed default is a configuration value, not a promise. This note is a specification: it is Passed only on a named integrated build and fixture.
